To those of you who celebrate, I hope that you had a very Merry Christmas. Despite all the extra stress that it brings, I love this time of year. Growing up, it was all about Christmas–the presents, the food, the carols. Now, it is more about the time. My husband takes the two weeks off from work that the kids have from school and, as we rarely travel during this time, we enjoy some quiet time at home.
I was surprised that I took so few pictures during Christmas, but I have a few to share….
We do the Jolabokaflodat our house and this picture was taken 30 seconds after the kids opened their packages.
For the record, my son got a new Dogman book (but not the newest, as he already as that) and my daughter received Nimona.
And, of course, we had to take the family picture by the Christmas tree.
This next picture was taken the day after Christmas–my kids had just gone to bed, the hubs and I were reading (he was reading his Jolabokaflod book, Redshirts). That was just a perfect moment for me…
As we come to the end of the year (and approach the one-year anniversary of this new blog), I wanted to thank you all for joining me here. I appreciate all of you and am looking forward to more in 2020!
