Dispatches from the Distancing – Days 198 – 204 AND Saturday Snapshot

Just a quick post today as w are expecting guests soon and I want to get something up before they arrive.

This week was very much like the past…we’ve been busy with school. Distance learning is going a bit more smoothly now, which is nice. Chris has also started writing clever little stories, which just warms my heart!

Now, I feel I need to post this because it is such a “thing” right now and, in the future, I’ll want to remember it. Last night, I saw on Twitter that the current occupant of the Oval Office was diagnosed with Covid-19. Just a few hours ago, I received an alert that he is on his way to Walter Reed. I don’t know where this is going, but I feel like I should document it.

I also want to say that I would not wish this horrible virus on anyone and I hope that everyone who is infected has a full recovery. That being said, that doesn’t mean that one should not be critical of the way the administration has handled this pandemic. That should never be forgotten…nor forgiven.

Now, onto the pictures.

2007

This pictures was taken during our honeymoon, while we were in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. I kind of wish I had one of these at home.

2009

I love this picture of me and baby Lillie. We’re wearing matching “William and Mary” (my alma mater) caps!
