We’re now onto July 31st, which is the last day of the first part of our trip as well as the first day of the last part of our trip. Don’t worry, you’ll see what I mean.
We were set to pick up my daughter at her Girl Scout camp that afternoon, so we decided to make the best of our time in the morning. We stopped at William M. Tugman State Park, which sports a lovely (and apparently very well stocked) lake. While my husband and I enjoyed the view, our son made use of the playground.
After a quick lunch at A&W, where my son had his first root beer swirled ice cream cone, we stopped at South Jetty Beach in Florence, where my boys walked the length of the jetty. It had a lovely, but crowded beach. We may visit it again some day when it isn’t summer day camp season.
And, finally, I GOT MY GIRL BACK! My daughter had a wonderful time at camp and we were so happy to have her back. As soon as we were all buckled into the minivan, we headed east…but more on that next week!
LOVE your photos! It looks like you and your family had a great time.
Thank you for hosting Saturday Snapshot. I’ve been away for a while, but I’m back now and looking forward to participating more frequently.
