We’ve finally reached the end of adventures for July 30th! This was a packed full day and I obviously have the pictures to prove it!
We had hoped to stop by a Marine Science Center, but it was unfortunately closed for the day (so we took a picture of my son in front of a whale jaw bone to prove we were there!). After that we stumbled upon Bastendorff County Park in Charleston, Oregon. While there is a traditional park there–which my son had fun exploring–it also has a very nice beach. There is a large natural jetty that my husband and son explored, while I soaked up the rays on the sand.
(I will be taking a break from our road trip pictures next week to share Halloween pictures, but will be back with more vacation pictures the following week!)
